-- Thelma I. Allen, 86 of Crawfordsville, died Saturday at 4 a.m. at Ben Hur Home, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Allen attended Wolf Creek Church. She had attended Grange Corner, Jackson Twp and Wingate schools. She was b. Nov 12 191 1in Parke Co to Emery and Mavis Henley Allen. In 1935, she married Raymond Gordon who preceded her in death. Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Tansel of Crawfordsville and Norma Wilson of Hillsboro a brother, Kenneth Allen of Hillsboro. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Indiana 25 S. Waynetown with the Rev. Junior Haas officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery, Wallace. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Wolf Creek Church by way of the funeral home. -- contributed obit
